Farouk Dangor opened the doors of Speedy Car Sales with just R300 in capital and an unshakeable belief that buying a car should feel like a privilege, not a battle. There were no shortcuts — only honest dealing, a sharp eye for a great machine, and a promise to treat every client like family.
That promise turned a tiny Klerksdorp lot into one of South Africa's most respected luxury and exotic car dealerships. Over 52 years we have grown from a single forecourt into a destination for discerning buyers nationwide — sourcing everything from a naturally-aspirated Aston Martin to the latest Ford Ranger Raptor, each one quality-inspected and ready to be loved.
The recognition followed the work: multiple ABSA Golden Dealer awards and Top Executive Dealer honours. But the accolade we are proudest of is the one money cannot buy — five decades of clients who keep coming back, and who send their families to us too.

Founder Farouk Dangor became the first Indian racer to represent South Africa in 1980, and in 1992 he lined up for the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours in a BMW M3. Today, in his seventies, he is still racing — most recently the Speed Classic Cape Town hillclimb behind the wheel of a Ferrari SF90 Stradale. His late son, Mohamed, channelled that same devotion into creating the family's motor museum.
